Senior Management Team

Michael S. Smith
Chief Executive Officer and President

Mike is responsible for managing the overall strategic direction of IGI as well as managing the stockholder and public interface of the corporation. He brings an extensive background in business formation, executive management, corporate finance, and legal matters, having served in various senior executive roles in the private sector. His background also includes founding and financing startup companies and working as an Attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission prior to assuming his duties at Infinite Group.

James D. Frost

Chief Technology Officer

Jim is a registered Professional Engineer and recognized as an expert in the IT services arena, ranging from enterprise architecture to application and infrastructure development and maintenance. He is the lead subject matter expert in project management using Earned Value Management techniques and is responsible for leading the development teams at IGI to ensure the quality delivery of services. In his tenure at IGI, Jim established the governance models and practice for IGI’s Project Management Practice and mentors the company’s engagement leadership and staff in delivery of services. He is a former Navy Civil Engineer Corps officer and was warranted as a Contracting Officer.

James Witzel

Chief Financial Officer

Jim joined IGI in October 2004 as finance manager reporting to our then chief financial officer and assisted him with accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, and various special projects. Prior to joining IGI, since 2003, Jim was a consultant providing accounting and management consulting services to a variety of privately held middle market companies.He has over 30 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and management.

William S. Hogan

Vice President of Operations

Scott joined IGI in July 2004 as practice director and has provided IT consulting services including building and leading the implementation, integration and support of high technology solutions for one of our major clients. Previously, Scott was employed with Hewlett Packard, Inc. since 1997 and was the North American operations manager for messaging services from 2001 until joining IGI.
