IGI is an information technology services company operating primarily in
the Federal, State, and Local IT services sector. Through our rich
history in this arena, backed by our management team’s extensive
experience with Federal operations, we have secured a number of
contracts servicing several large agencies of the Federal government,
including the Department of Homeland Security.
We have also
identified several segments of the Federal IT services market
that we believe currently have the greatest and most immediate
needs. We are responding to these needs as follows:
- Quality professional services continue to be in demand to
design, integrate, and operate complex information
technology-based solutions that drive the missions and business
processes of the government. IGI is well-positioned in this
regard as the primary resource for mission-critical
infrastructure operations and maintenance for several operations
in the Federal arena.
- New requirements mandating that all major federal programs
be managed using an Earned Value Management (EVM) approach has
created a new need for project and program management
professionals experienced with this methodology. IGI continues
to hold the reputation for being the source of the best EVM
services available and is actively promoting this aspect of our
company.
- To satisfy federal mandates of spending and the development
of emerging enterprises, reputable small businesses are being
sought to partner with large prime contractors. IGI meets the
requirements of operating as a small business in many categories
and has already entered into subcontracts with major systems
integrators servicing Federal government customers.
