Infinite Group, Inc. (IGI) Attains Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Status
Pittsford, NY, February 4, 2009
Infinite Group,
Inc. (OTCBB: IMCI) today announced that it has attained Microsoft
Gold Certified Partner status, the highest level of certification
available from Microsoft Corporation. Gold Certified Partners have
passed Microsoft’s stringent requirements and have demonstrated the
highest levels of knowledge, skill and technical ability, as well as
the commitment to implement of Microsoft technologies.
Infinite Group Inc. (IGI) has specifically been certified for
Microsoft Competencies in the areas of Advanced Infrastructure
Solutions and Unified Communications. Created to help partner firms
like IGI differentiate their solution and service offerings,
Microsoft Competencies enable clients to secure a particular type of
consulting solution, based on the firm’s capabilities and expertise
with specific Microsoft technologies. Each Microsoft Competency has
a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately
represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to
the technology industry.
“IGI’s ongoing momentum with
Microsoft stems from our successful implementation of flexible and
highly productive solutions developed for our clients’ specific
computing and business needs,” said Rodney Moore, IGI’s Microsoft
Practice Director. “IGI has implemented multiple complex solutions
across thousands of devices, most of which are then managed 24/7 by
our personnel,” said Moore. “Mission-critical systems for many IGI
clients run on Microsoft products, so attaining Gold Certification
validates IGI’s ability to engineer solutions that extract maximum
performance and value. Enterprises can achieve cost savings by
leveraging pre-packaged software solutions from Microsoft, to enable
progress in the areas of consolidation, collaboration, unified
communications, business intelligence and system lifecycle
management. Given current budget constraints, IGI can show its
customers how to maximize their Microsoft licensing agreements, and
accomplish more with less,” continued Moore.
Michael Smith,
IGI’s President and CEO, said, “We are extremely pleased with the
traction we’ve made in the market using Microsoft solutions. Our
technical expertise, delivery success, and customer satisfaction led
to attaining the highest level of certification offered by
Microsoft. This development is consistent with our continued focus
on Green Technologies and a set of comprehensive services, which
improve efficiency and help our clients save money. IGI also
anticipates that Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status will lead
to significant additional revenue opportunities.”
In
addition to being a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, IGI is a
Premier Partner with VMware, a Registered Partner with Cisco
Systems, and a Hewlett-Packard Developer and Solutions Partner.
